Jeffrey P. Miller is an associate attorney at Siler & Ingber, LLP, and is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. Jeffrey received his Bachelor of Arts in Law & Society from American University and his Juris Doctor from the Hofstra University School of Law, where he was a Charles H. Revson Law Student Public Interest Fellow, Public Justice Foundation Fellow, and earned the highest-tiered Public Service Certificate. As a member of the Family Court Review, Jeffrey authored “Physical Education: Amending the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act to Restrict Restraint and Seclusion in Public and Private Schools[,]” an analysis of the need for federal legislation to ensure a uniform standard for restraint and seclusion and to limit their use to proper scenarios while ensuring that they are safely and properly performed in reasonable manners. While Jeffrey focuses on plaintiffs’ personal injury cases, his prior experience in defense work gives him insight into the way defense attorneys think and allows him to avoid or mitigate pitfalls along the way.
